A great video has just gone live from yesterday’s WRC France test, where François Delecour and Dominique Savignoni had their first taste of the Tuthill Porsche 997 RGT. “Driving with François in a Porsche is a dream come true,” says Dominique. “And as for the Porsche: great brakes and great traction – it is a dream of a car.”
“Ça marche bien (it goes well),” says François smiling as he climbs out of the 911 RGT car. “I made some adjustments to my braking points, and now that is better. Not bad – really not bad.”
Hard to believe that just a few months ago, this car was the rolling shell of a former Cup Car sitting in our workshop here at Wardington. Now look at it – making François Delecour smile ahead of driving in front of his home fans on his home rally. It is such a special feeling to watch videos like this: very proud of all our team.
