We’ve just added a great Porsche 911 rally car for sale to the Porsche cars for sale section. One of our own stable of pre-’73 911 rally cars, it’s a proven winner in European FIA rallying, with outright victory on the Costa Brava Historic ahead of some very famous competitors. It has also accumulated some memorable stage miles at the hands of champion drivers, including Björn Waldegård and Jimmy McRae.
This 1972 Porsche 911 for sale is built to our tried and tested specification and has completed both the East African Safari Classic Rally and the Morocco Historic Rally. Now refreshed and ready to go in Tarmac spec with a 2.7-litre engine on Weber carburettors, it is offered at the very affordable price of £120,000. A similar car would cost at least £160,000 to build from scratch nowadays, given the cost of pre-1973 Porsche 911s in today’s market.
