It’s a beautiful day here at Tuthill Porsche in Wardington. The sun is shining, birds are singing and race team technicians are weaving in and out of the open workshop doors, packing our new service truck and putting the final touches to our historic rally cars ahead of the Bulldog Rally in Wales this weekend.
Our road car workshop is currently working on a very nice Audi S3, in for servicing and a brake disc change. The S3 is one of those Audis all drivers adore, for its authenticity to the classic Quattro spirit. The owner reports that the turbocharged, all-wheel-drive chassis is a hoot to drive on the excellent back roads surrounding our workshops.
Also in the road workshop today is a handsome Boxster S, with us for servicing and some driveshaft work. The cars make an interesting juxtaposition. Where the stubby little pocket rocket S3 is vigorous in its A to B methodology, the Boxster S requires a slightly more considered approach when blitzing the B roads. Whichever one takes your fancy, both are excellent drivers’ cars. We’re delighted the owners trust Tuthills for maintenance.
