The weather around Tuthill Porsche in Wardington has been cold but dry for the last few weeks, enough to prompt some Porsche owners to get their cars in for a service before the start of March.
Our Tim has been holding the fort in the service workshop for a while, and we recently added Dan: formerly of Bob Watson Porsche in Middle Aston, Oxfordshire but now settling in nicely here. Dan brings good experience on air- and water-cooled Porsche cars, and the pair are working well together.
In the workshop this morning is a selection of classic 911s that anyone would love to own: a 2.4-litre 911S in for an engine rebuild, a 964 on one ramp for some power steering work, and a very smooth 993 in black overseeing the lot. Outside, more Porsches await: everything from a 356 to a 997 Cabriolet, each in for fresh oil and a service before spring arrives and all those lovely classics go back on the road.
What are your servicing plans this year? Want some help with your Porsche? The boys would be happy to get under your Porsche, and give you a tour if you’re curious about what goes on in a service. Give us a call on 01295 750 514 to book a slot in the workshop.
