Our first win on the Safari Rally has shone a well-deserved spotlight on our classic Porsche work here at Wardington.
The Oxfordshire Porsche workshops are set to feature in many classic car magazines over the coming months, with our Below Zero Ice Driving gaining similar exposure. Magazines including Road and Track in the USA have featured our cars on their websites and blogs, and pictures of the amazing Björn Waldegård on the winner’s podium in a Tuthill Porsche are all over the Internet.
Our Safari win was not gifted: it took hard work both in the cockpit and out of it. Björn rightly paid tribute to Mathias, his navigator son, more than once but our hard-working mechanics also played their part, with more than a few late nights along the way! No night was later than the night we won Safari: that will be remembered for a long time to come.
