Paolo Faldini and Fabrizia Pons have finished the Rally du Maroc Historique in seventh position. The pair were also first in their class, winning the Trophy for Elegance and Style!
Nothing could be more appropriate for the Faldini/Pons car, which has long been one of our most stylish Porsches. Paolo kept his rhythm right from the start and, assisted by one of the great rally co-drivers, took the chequered flag in a well-deserved seventh after twenty-one competitive stages of rallying.
Martin Aguirre and Luis Mirasol brought their Tuthill 911 home in 26th position overall, with Jan Hagman and Robert Jakobsson coming home P34 in their all-new Safari car.
The most important point for us is that all drivers had a great event, with excellent reliability. The rally brought our team and drivers closer together ahead of Safari – just can’t wait to get to East Africa now.
