Now that the Safari containers have shipped to Kenya with twelve cars including two new Safari 911 builds on board, our car builders have switched back to the other bespoke Porsche build and full restoration projects currently on our books.

The metalwork and fabrication department is working on three cars: a 356 Speedster in for full restoration, a 1973 Carrera 2.7 RS restoration and the build of a brand new, dual-purpose 1965 Porsche 911 2.0L. Scheduled to debut on the 2020 Monte Carlo Historic Rally, this special 911 will go on to contest the 2020 2.0L Cup season.

Our latest brand-new 2-litre build recently left the bodyshop and is now being assembled in the main workshop. The base for this project is a rally car first built by Francis Tuthill some thirty years ago. The shell has had a full restoration with a roll cage install and we are currently fitting out the cabin and trim. The bodyshop is also working on the full bare metal repaint of a beautiful 911.

The 2.0L Cup round at Monza ended in victory for one of our cars (see details below) and our latest new 2.0L Cup 911 build also enjoyed a trouble-free weekend. William Paul qualified his new car just outside the top twenty and made up eight places in the race, coming home fourteenth of twenty-two finishers.

The workshop has just stripped our next 2.0L Cup shell and that is now being media blasted. We converted a Swedish ex-rally car for entry in the 2L Cup round at Paul Ricard and that will now be prepared for the 2020 season. We’ve also started stripping a 1972 911 for a road car build and our newest road car is coming together in the workshop. More of that very special car later!
