Return to Modena Cento Ore

This year’s Modena Cento Ore includes a race at the famous Monza circuit. Tuthill Porsche is supporting four classic Porsche cars on this wonderful event.

We’re gearing up for a return to the wonderful Modena Cento Ore, which takes place on the roads and racetracks of Northern Italy from June 5th-9th. This superb event running through some of Italy’s most beautiful scenery is a non-stop festival of driving and racing and a real client favourite.

For 2018, the Cento Ore (Hundred Hours) route includes a race on the famous Autodromo Nazionale di Monza circuit: the oldest racetrack still in regular use and home to the Italian Grand Prix since 1950. Competitors will also race at Varano and Mugello: one of the most exciting racetracks in Europe. The participants will also be tackling twelve special hillclimb sections on closed roads and within the Circuit de Modena.

Competitors can choose to battle in head-to-head races in the Competition section or opt for a lighter but still challenging experience in the Regularity section, which follows an identical route, including the racetracks and closed road stages. At the end of each day, the participants sample the finest hotels of Monza, Parma, Forte dei Marmi, Florence and Modena, with dinners in unique locations, great chefs and fine Italian wines. It really is a magnificent experience.

Modena Cento Ore grids are limited to a manageable one hundred cars, to ensure that the event remains relatively compact and exceptionally social, allowing people to make new friends and enjoy great company. Four Tuthill-prepared cars are running in this year’s event, including Glenn Janssens’ Group 4 911SC and the rare and delightful Porsche 356 Super 90 GT (above) that we prepared for competition use in 2017.

We’re excited to get back to Italy and the unbeatable atmosphere of this terrific competitive tour. Contact us to discuss our full event programme for 2018 and beyond.
