This sweet pair of classic Porsche rally cars is currently in build at Tuthill Porsche.
Closest to the camera is a 911 shell, coming together for historic endurance rallying. Future stablemate to a successful SWB 911 2.0-litre rally car, and now a widebody RSR-style rally car also, the aim is to add a bit more power to the classic narrow-body shape for long distance competitive events.
Behind that is a 912 shell, being transformed for a friend of Tuthill Porsche overseas. The 912 makes a great rally car as its lower power output can put it in slightly less powerful classes, while the shell can be built super strong and carry all of our Porsche 911 modifications, including custom chassis parts, dampers and cockpit modifications.
For years 912s were something of a ‘poor relation’, with restoration cars sacrificed in order to service 911 requirements. Nowadays, the classic 912 has a following all of its own. Tuthill Porsche is proud to have built winning versions of each of these classics.
