Due to continuous growth, we are recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to join the Finance team!

The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 with a 45 minute lunch break

Reporting to:            Management Accountant
Location:        Tuthill Estate, Wardington, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX17 1RY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing of invoices together with paperflow, seeking approval and ensuring queries raised are actioned as appropriate
  • Prepare regular supplier statement reconciliation for review and to agreed deadlines for a selection of AP ledger 
  • Sales ledger invoicing 
  • Assisting with management of the company’s bank accounts and credit cards including postings,  reconciliations and analysis of spend
  • Ensuring all invoices/statements are received and issued/processed in timely manner
  • Assist with weekly payment runs 
  • Understand the Finance and In house system to be able to utilise effectively
  • Ensure transactions are posted daily and right first time 
  • Supporting colleagues with ad hoc projects and queries and general administration when needed

  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
