We’ve uploaded some Youtube video from our first test of the Tuthill Porsche 997 RGT car before WRC Germany. The test went perfectly and our Porsche 911 GT3 rally car is delighting everyone who sees it!
“What an unbelievable experience,” said Richard after the test. “We’ve had the perfect day of driving. The car hasn’t missed a beat and the weather has shown all its faces, from rain in the morning to a dry afternoon. But what has impressed most is the reception for this car. We’ve had so many drivers coming over to talk to us about it and the fans haven’t left our side all day. The FIA has definitely got this one right.”
One man who paid very close attention to the Tuthill Porsche 911 GT3 RGT challenger was the talented Estonian WRC star, Ott Tänak, who enjoyed chatting to Stéphane about our machine. No doubt there is huge interest in what the R-GT class holds for rally enthusiasts. It’s great to see a Porsche 911 back on the entry list for world championship rallying in Germany, and we’re proud to be the team that has put it there.
