Taking place in Eldoret, Kenya between the 8th-11th December was the Mini version of The Worlds Toughest Rally.
While it may have been mini in terms of days in competition, this rally is by no means easier on driver or car than it’s longer counterpart, The East African Safari Classic Rally; and is still 1000km in distance.
Remon Vos and Stephane Prevot were back once again in Eldoret to take on many notable names such as, Baldev Chager, Ian Duncan and Geoff Bell amongst others.
Claiming the top spot in stage 1, Vos and Prevot ended up taking fastest stages in 3 out of the 9 in total, and made a consistent push throughout the whole competition. They put in a solid effort to regain time after a broken damper slowed play on day one, and ultimately claimed 1st place after the rally leaders made a navigational error which saw them off course by at least 6kms.
A huge congratulations to the pair, and to our crew who were on location to help get them to the end.
