Tuthill 911s head for the Adriatic Adventure Rally

Four Tuthill-prepared Porsche 911s head for the Adriatic Adventure Rally

Following a rapturous reception for the 2017 Baltic Classic Rally, the Endurance Rally Association team has been devising an equally exciting ‘sister’ event for competitors seeking new challenges. Their answer is the Adriatic Adventure Rally from the 18th to the 29th of September and four Tuthill Porsches will take part in the event.

Run over 12 days and open to cars built before 1976, the ERA describes the Adriatic Adventure as “a rally of two halves: from the mountains of the inland Balkans to the dazzling brilliance of the Adriatic coastline. Suitable for experienced crews and newcomers alike, this brand new event will mirror the Baltic Classic in terms of style and take competitors into countries that are new territory for rallying.”

Seven Porsche 911s have been entered on the rally. The Tuthill competitors are David and Susan Danglard, who came second overall in the recent Peking to Paris Rally, Edmund Peel and Sara MacDonald (photo) who excelled on the 2017 Baltic Classic and Anthony and Fiona Galliers-Pratt, who will drive a unique Tuthill-built 911 on the Adriatic Adventure. We are also building a new car for Sherif Hwaidak, who is competing with Yevhen Harashchenko. We wish all of our crews the very best of luck!
